It’s easy. Submit a completed University of Hawaii System application (PDF) to the Admissions and Records Office at Windward Community College.

Application Deadlines

Fall Semester – Priority deadline August 1, applications accepted starting in February

Spring Semester – Priority deadline December 1, applications accepted starting in September

Summer Semester – Applications accepted starting February

Applications will be accepted until the last day of Late Registration, space permitting. Refer to the Academic Calendar for specific dates. A $30 Late Registration fee will apply on first day of instruction term.


Who is Eligible?

You are eligible to apply to Windward CC if you are:

  • 18 years of age by the first day of instruction or
  • a U.S. high school graduate or equivalent (GED - more information is available from the Department of Education)

Submit an application form if you are:

  • a first-time college student
  • not currently enrolled at a UH campus
  • a returning student (previously attended but not currently enrolled at a UH campus)
  • a transfer student (currently or previously enrolled at a non-UH institution)

Acceptance Notification

For general admissions, notification of acceptance will be sent within two weeks after the UH System Application and other required documents are received.


Health Requirements

Health clearances are required by the Hawaii Department of Health before registering for classes. You must have proof of Tuberculosis (TB) clearance and Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) immunization.
